Lots of irons in the fire, just the way it’s supposed to be:
Waiting for my publisher to send me the draft cover for my first mystery novel,Aftermath, due out in October.
Chasing blurbs and reviews for said first mystery novel, trying NetGalley.com based on author referrals.
Working on a new novel, tentatively titled With Bo Scott, about a 50-year-old widow with symbol-color (“grapheme”) synesthesia who’s grappling with co-writing a memoir for a difficult celebrity and helping a new friend solve a mystery, while raising two kids, one of whom is struggling with synesthetic perceptions, and dealing with her hippie mother who decides to move in.
Trying to generate more readership for my three previous novels for adults.
Running a Roswell, GA-based writers’ critique group, now in its second decade, for the Atlanta Writers Club.
Officiating a wedding for the first time (the groom and bride met at my critique group).
Raising a pair of sweet dogs.
Most importantly, being the best possible life partner, lover, and friend to my wife, which I consider my full-time focus. Everything else is a sideline.
